Lead designer for client La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club, including creation and design of weekly newsletter “the Golden Rotarian” and “News” page for the website. Develop the process for its digital distribution and templates. Designed the Rotary Club’s Members Directory booklet.
THE ORIGINAL DESIGN BEFORE 2010
The original ” The Golden Rotarian ” was printed on a shell (paper with pre-printed images). After 2010 I designed a new template that would be compatible with digital printing and the web. The new template layouts were designed to be colorful and vibrant. I designed the new base layout so that it does not fall apart, even when bad design content is placed into the template’s body.
BRINGING IT TO LIFE
Content is usually provided by the Rotarians or the speaker. When content is not provided or very little, I usually do quick research on the individual or topic within a short amount of time allotted. Researching allows me to understand the subject matter, allowing me to figure out the best way to lay out the content.
